MyStory Persona Consent Addendum

Effective Date: [DATE TO BE SET AT LAUNCH]

This Persona Consent Addendum (the "Addendum") is part of the MyStory Terms of Service. It governs the optional creation and operation of your voice clone and AI Persona. You must complete this Addendum before voice clone or Persona features are activated on your account.

This Addendum is a second-step, explicit opt-in. Acceptance of the Terms of Service alone does not authorize creation of a voice clone or Persona. The Service will not create a voice clone or Persona until you complete the affirmative steps in Section 7 below.

1. What We Are Asking You to Authorize

By completing this Addendum, you authorize Crest Advisory Group LLC ("Crest") to:

Capture a voice sample from you and use it to train a voice clone bound to your account.
Process your stories, lessons, sealed letters, and other Author Content to construct an AI assistant ("Persona") that responds in writing and (where enabled) in your cloned voice.
Continue operating the Persona after your death (subject to revocation, executor instructions, and Sections 4 and 5 below) so that designated Family Invitees may continue to interact with stories you captured.

2. Nature of the Persona

You should understand the following before consenting:

The Persona is an AI assistant. It is not you. The Persona is software trained on your captured stories. It is not your consciousness, personality, soul, or any continuation of you.
The Persona is bounded. It is configured to reference and synthesize content you actually captured. It will indicate when it does not know or cannot answer. It will not invent facts or guess about your views on topics you never discussed.
The Persona may make mistakes. Like any AI, the Persona can mishear, misread, hallucinate, or combine your stories in ways you would not have. Family members should treat its outputs as a thoughtful synthesis of your stories, not a literal replay.
The Persona's behavior may evolve. The substrate models that power the Persona will change over time as we update the Service. Crest will reasonably preserve the character, content scope, and guardrails you configure, but we cannot guarantee identical behavior across versions.

3. Persona Persistence After Death

You authorize Crest to continue operating the Persona after your death, subject to:

An active subscription on the account (paid by you, your estate, or a designated successor payer); or
The Family Plan being active on the account.

If the subscription lapses and is not reinstated, the Persona becomes dormant per Section 5.

The Persona is a tool for family memory continuity. It is not a probate asset transferable for sale or commercial use. You may not bequeath the Persona for monetization. You may transfer access rights to family members through your designated Executor and per the Inactivity Protocol.

4. Revocation and Modification

You may, at any time, do any of the following from your account settings or by contacting privacy@crestadvisorygroup.com:

Pause the Persona. Disable Persona responses temporarily; voice clone retained.
Delete the voice clone. Voice clone artifacts and seed sample destroyed within thirty (30) days; written Persona may continue without voice.
Delete the Persona entirely. Persona model artifacts destroyed within thirty (30) days; Author Content remains as a static archive viewable by Family Invitees in their access scope.
Restrict topics or recipients. Add new guardrails to the Persona's scope or remove specific Family Invitees.
Withdraw all consent. Treated as full deletion of voice clone and Persona; Author Content remains unless you separately request deletion.

These rights survive your death and may be exercised by your Executor on your behalf within the Executor's authorized scope.

5. What Happens to Persona Data on Cancellation vs. Deletion

"Dormant" means the data is encrypted at rest, not loaded into any active inference path, and not accessible to Family Invitees until reactivated.

6. Persona Behavior Limits and Abuse Reports

Crest maintains the following guardrails on every Persona, in addition to any you configure:

The Persona will not impersonate the author for legally binding purposes (signing documents, granting consent on the author's behalf, voting, transacting).
The Persona will decline to provide medical, legal, financial, or psychiatric advice and will direct family members to qualified professionals.
The Persona will refuse content that is sexual, hateful, harassing, or otherwise harmful, even if asked in the author's name.
The Persona will indicate uncertainty or absence of source material rather than fabricate.

Any Family Invitee may submit an abuse report at abuse@crestadvisorygroup.com or through in-Service controls. Reports trigger:

Confidential review by Crest's safety team within seven (7) days.
Temporary Persona pause if material misuse or harm risk is identified.
Outreach to the Author (if living) or to the Executor (if deceased) for direction.
Optional independent review by Crest's outside counsel for material disputes.

7. Affirmative Activation Steps

The Service will not create your voice clone or activate your Persona until you complete each of the following:

[ ] Checkbox 2. I confirm the voice I am providing is my own voice, and I have authority to grant Crest the rights described.

[ ] Checkbox 3. I understand the Persona is an AI assistant trained on my stories, not a literal continuation of me, and may produce inaccurate or unexpected responses.

Typed phrase. Type the following exactly to activate:

> I understand a digital version of me will be created and may be used by my family after I'm gone.

Your acceptance of this Addendum is recorded with timestamp, IP address, and the typed phrase as proof of explicit, informed, second-step consent. We retain this record per the Privacy Policy retention schedule.

8. Executor and Heir Rights

Executor (designated by you): The Executor named in your account, upon authentication per the Inactivity Protocol, may pause the Persona, delete the voice clone or Persona, restrict topics, or remove Family Invitees. The Executor may not modify the substantive content of your captured stories or sealed letters.
Heirs and next-of-kin: Heirs not designated as Executor have no direct administrative authority over the Persona, but may submit abuse reports and may petition Crest in writing if they believe Persona operation conflicts with the author's known wishes. Crest will review such petitions in good faith but will defer to the Executor's directions absent clear evidence of overreach.
Disputes: If multiple parties claim Executor authority, the account is paused pending Crest's review and, where appropriate, a court order or written settlement among the parties.

9. Acknowledgment

By completing the affirmative activation steps in Section 7, you acknowledge that you have read this Addendum, understand the nature and persistence of the Persona, and consent to the creation and operation of your voice clone and Persona on the terms above.

This Addendum is governed by the laws of the State of Florida and is subject to the dispute-resolution provisions of the MyStory Terms of Service.
